How it works

Employee contribution = MSC × employee rate; Employer contribution = MSC × employer rate

  1. Find the Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) for your salary (rounded to the nearest bracket, within the SSS floor and ceiling).
  2. Multiply the MSC by the employee rate to get your share.
  3. Multiply the MSC by the employer rate to get the employer share.
  4. Add the employer-paid Employees' Compensation (EC) premium to get the total remittance.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Monthly Salary Credit (MSC)?

The MSC is the standardized salary bracket SSS uses to compute contributions. Your actual salary is matched to the nearest MSC within the current floor and ceiling.

How much is deducted from my pay?

Only the employee share is deducted from your salary. Your employer separately pays the employer share and the Employees' Compensation (EC) premium.

Does this include the WISP contribution?

For salaries above the regular MSC ceiling, part of the contribution goes to the Workers' Investment and Savings Program (WISP). The employee share shown already reflects the total rate on your MSC.

Is this exact?

It is an estimate based on the current schedule. Always verify against the official SSS Schedule of Contributions, especially near bracket edges and after any rate change.

How is SSS Contribution Calculator Philippines (2025) calculated?

Employee contribution = MSC × employee rate; Employer contribution = MSC × employer rate

Where does the data come from?

Figures are based on official sources: SSS — Contributions, Republic Act No. 11199 (Social Security Act of 2018).
