How it works

Employee contribution = min(salary, cap) × employee rate; Employer contribution = min(salary, cap) × employer rate

  1. Cap your monthly compensation at the maximum used for Pag-IBIG.
  2. Pick the employee rate: the lower rate at or below the threshold, the higher rate above it.
  3. Multiply the capped compensation by each rate to get the employee and employer shares.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum Pag-IBIG contribution?

The mandatory contribution is based on compensation up to the current cap, so the employee and employer shares each stop increasing once your salary reaches that cap.

Why is my rate 1% instead of 2%?

The lower employee rate applies to monthly compensation at or below the rate threshold; above it, the higher rate applies. The employer rate is the same regardless.

Can I contribute more than the mandatory amount?

Yes. Members may pay more than the mandatory contribution voluntarily. This calculator shows the mandatory amount only.

Is this exact?

It is an estimate based on the current schedule. Verify against the latest HDMF circular, especially after any change to rates or the compensation cap.

How is Pag-IBIG Contribution Calculator Philippines (2024–2025) calculated?

Employee contribution = min(salary, cap) × employee rate; Employer contribution = min(salary, cap) × employer rate

Where does the data come from?

Figures are based on official sources: Pag-IBIG Fund (HDMF), Republic Act No. 9679 (HDMF Law of 2009).
